It is a lawless land governed by the laws of the jungle, where the strong devour the weak.

It is a distant era, as governments superseded one another, one rose above the rest, its persistent existence carving an open wound across the land of Ardonia, a nest of corruption and a haven for illicit enterprises: Hyperion City.

The five noble Ardoni clans had been destroyed aeons ago, then the five malicious crime syndicates united the provinces into the hideous amalgamation known as Hyperion City. The crime syndicates waged an endless war against their rivals and chaos roamed the land.

A young man seeks to destroy the person who killed his father, wishing nothing but the destruction of the organization which has brought him so much suffering. There he meets a band of unlikely allies: a secretive, vengeful commander and her hesitant companion, a defector from the Nestoris' enforcers, and offworlders who had found themselves trapped in Hyperion City. With them lies the hope of a common dream: the end of the Syndicates' rule.
