Second Chances
Forced to return for an 8th year at Hogwarts, war veteran and member of the Golden Trio, Hermione Granger plans for a year of studying and keeping to herself. A growing divide between herself and her long-time friends pushes her to the outskirts of her group, and she takes the opportunity for some long-overdue peace and quiet. This is her second chance at enjoying her time at school and learning as much as she can. Draco Malfoy, disgraced and ostracized from society, hopes to prove how much he's changed and continues to change during his 8th year. After spending a summer on house arrest, narrowly escaping Azkaban with testimonies from the boy who lived and the brightest witch of their age. He does not want to squander this second chance at life and plans to do everything he can to prove himself.
