Lily - once a bright sunny girl but upon her mother's death( or murder) she becomes a numb cunning women after being sent to a "healing tribe" but after almost a year and a half she's back for her coming of age ,to be married off.
The beast king - A young dark and brooding king that can take form of any beast he chooses stays holed up in his castle never leaving the grounds or so the stories go. But once every couple of months he holds a ball in honor of his parents and future queen, which he is yet to find. During the times of these balls people aren't allowed to get to close for it is law.
With Lily's coming of age being right when the King holds the next ball her father says she must attend. Will she catch the eye of the Beast King and if she does will they survive together or will they both perish in grief and hatred?
