Being from Disctric 1, everybody hated your Distric, and everyone in it. You tought that in this 74th Annual Hunger Games th odds would be in your favor again, but unfortunately they weren't . You woudn't volunteer, and neither your siblings. Well you were wrong there, your little sister Emerald committed the stupid act of volunteering, lucky for her and you, if there were more volunteers , they would accept the older one, so you knew that you needed to do it, for her.

The times that followed were going to be really hard, but life was gonna be harder if you survived the games, maybe losing was better, but who knew that, who knew that life was gonna be even worse than the games, who knew that the Games were just the start of a horrible and full of lies life?
