The land has been ravished by disease and famine. Creatures who were once thought to be extinct or imaginary have risen from the shadows, and the humans are now the prey.
Famished and afflicted with the Sickness, a group of humans on the run seek shelter from the creatures that pursue them inside an abandoned barn. But can you really hide from something so Monstrous?

Mansion in the Woods
Hostage. Prisoner. What ever you wish to call it. They won't let me nor my friends leave. Taken by a cannibalistic family and claimed I was being adopted into their family. I already have a family of my own. And what of my friends that's with me? They're the main course. In the little town of Norbury, Canada, there have been several people disappearing without a trace. A couple of my colleagues and I decided to do a news article and discover the reasons for all the missing people. However I never realized the horrors that would await us in the quiet little town. The town is not a real place in Canada, I just made it up. This is my first story ever so if I have grammar mistakes PLEASE CORRECT ME!!! I'm not a writer but I've had this idea in my head ever since I watched Hostel and Wrong Turn so I figured I'd see if anyone else is interested. These are short stories I wrote for fun. These short stories are related to my original story (on wattpad) which is called "The CoDas: Reboot)".
