Famished and afflicted with the Sickness, a group of humans on the run seek shelter from the creatures that pursue them inside an abandoned barn. But can you really hide from something so Monstrous?

Centuries ago this was a great planet, now it's a husky shadow of its former beauty. Though the remnants of its former magic still linger it was destroyed by power hungry scientists. More tests to make more technology to go further, faster more this more that. Boom It all went up in flames, radiation spilled out into South America from the global power station in Brazil. The nuclear plant 15 times that of Chernobyl blew its top. The initial explosion flattened Brazil and the shockwaves were felt from the Florida keys. But the thing that truly ruined the world was the nuclear fallout. it rained down everywhere turning the world into a desolate wasteland deserts for miles and miles. Now you live in districts to survive, but what's the good in just being a number. Why would you look forward to a future of infant nothing, can you run from that? Where would you go? Where have the people who have escaped gone? Is that a future? What if there's someone who got left behind? Hostage. Prisoner. What ever you wish to call it. They won't let me nor my friends leave. Taken by a cannibalistic family and claimed I was being adopted into their family. I already have a family of my own. And what of my friends that's with me? They're the main course. In the little town of Norbury, Canada, there have been several people disappearing without a trace. A couple of my colleagues and I decided to do a news article and discover the reasons for all the missing people. However I never realized the horrors that would await us in the quiet little town. The town is not a real place in Canada, I just made it up. This is my first story ever so if I have grammar mistakes PLEASE CORRECT ME!!!
