Starlight (Loki fanfic)

Elara Ayala's life has never been in her own hands, it was always in someone else's. First, it was her mother who controlled her life, then the Wolves, then Hydra, and then the Wolves again.
As soon as Elara turned 4, she began to train with the Wolves to become one of the greatest assassins in the world. And then when she was 12, she was experimented on, resulting in her having powers.
When Elara was younger all she hoped for was someone to put an end to her mother's madness and need for her daughter to become the greatest weapon of all time. But she had no one. Elara had no extended family and her father didn't even know she existed. All she had was her mother.
Around a year ago, Elara decided to take her life back into her own hands and disappeared off the face of the Earth. At least, this is what her mother and the Wolves think. Truth is, she's been in hiding, trying to start her life over. But this proves to be rather difficult when somehow S.H.I.E.L.D manages to find her and tries to recruit her to join the Avengers.
Soon, the person she had fought so hard to be, begins to slip out of her grasp, as the demons from her past that she has tried to outrun come back.

Also, let's not talk about the cover, I made it in less than 10 minutes on Adobe Spark. So it's safe to say it looks rough, real rough. But I'll ignore it if you do.
