Luz hates her life in Conneticut. She is an outcast, a loner, so she doesn't have any friends. She always had one person she could confide to though: Camila, her mom. Soon, Luz discovers a secret of Camila's and together discover the ups and downs of secret-keeping.

Amity Blight, the perfect daughter. Carefully crafted by her mom with her dad standing in the sidelines. She was Little Miss Perfect to everyone, and yet she had a secret. A secret that would get her in even more trouble if it got out. Odalia didn't stand for Amity releasing her secrets.

Luz and Amity catch each other's eyes as soon as they see each other. Everyone close to them can see that they're smitten with each other but thy're both too afraid. It's time for Luz to seek help from her mom and for Amity to stray away from hers.

1. This is an AU where covens are not compulsory to join, hence Eda (and Lilith who followed her path) not being wanted.
2. If this AU already exists and it has a proper name, please tell me. I am not educated in Owl House AUs and I dont want anyone to think I'm plagiarising anyone's AUs. I also think this is an original AU so please correct me if I'm wrong.

This story plays before Season 2 of The Owl House and Luz and Amity are a bit older. Amity's breath hitches in her throat, and she doesn't speak. "Can I kiss you?" Luz asks, her breath tickling Amity's lips. Without any hesitation Amity nods her head yes, her eyes still wide. She couldn't believe it. Was this actually happening or was she dreaming? Luz looks at Amity again, obviously nervous. She doesn't seem to move, so Amity does instead. She cups Luz's face with her hands and gently brings her closer, pressing her lips against Luz's. The hybrid lets out a muffled squeak of surprise, but doesn't pull away or try to stop Amity. After a moment Amity releases Luz and covers her mouth with her hand, her cheeks tinted pink. Luz says nothing, and her ears lower, the tips of them red. The only thing left behind was a letter with the words "I'm making this house worse and worse" written in it. Now, Luz attending a "Reality Check Summer Camp" was supposed to make everything better, everything normal. But after running off that bus to camp to chase after her one prized possession, her Good Witch Azura book, one thing led to another and now she had ended up in some old, isolated, and hidden town named the "Boiling Isles." Everything had changed since the death of their papá. Balancing guilt, trying to conform, broken relationships, and more, it felt impossible. There were lies, secrets, and entire lives hidden from one another, and it was only a matter of time before something or someone finally unraveled it all. After having taken her last two years of high school, and her freshman year of college in DC, she knew there was going to be changes, she was...prepared. the first change was how her ex Amity, this total badass, hot slice of cherry pie of a woman, was back with her ex girlfriend Boscha. Luz honestly didn't mind, but the fact that she was in the same double dorm as Boscha at Hexside Private University was kinda aggravating. It was quite often she was booted from her own goddamned dorm room, so boscha could "give it" to her side peice.. Luz's friend Willow. Instead of her own girlfriend. So Luz and Amity have spent a lot of time in Amity's single recapping shows and book series together, in the beginning Luz thought it was just one of their 'friend' meetups but, Amity loved it when the brunette knocked on her door, her heart and many other places ached for the muscular, jock built nonbinary. It was no secret amongst herself that she wanted to see and memorize Luz's abs, to feel her defined chest muscles she had surgery to make flat. to recognize the peach fuzz three months of testosterone gave her.. to drown in the smoothness of her voice. Amity still had it bad, Luz however had already accepted that Amity was taken, Amity.. hated that.
