I sit down, and relax my shoulders. I'm going home. Not that it feels that way without... I look back to see if he's still there, but he's already walking to his car, almost imperceptible among the rain, that has now started violently assaulting the asphalt. He stops, unnoticed, immobile, a boy in the rain. ____________________________________ Morgan Prince has always been a bit difficult to understand. Cold, distant, and apathy incarnate. Under the surface though, lies a glowing beating heart, ready to love the world as it is. Years of repression, and abuse from a manipulative mother has all but made Morgan empty, a void. And along came Dean Jacobs. Lukewarm, empathetic, funny. Almost Morgan's exact opposite. And yet the right joke at the right time, and Morgan's heart glew a little brighter. Can one little star make the void a brighter place?

Riley Lachkov's life has only ever revolved around one thing-soccer. Raised in a family where emotions don't really exist, he's kept a cold front for as long as he can remember. Most people think they know him: a cocky, arrogant, rude jerk who couldn't care less about what anyone thinks. But there's a part of him no one's ever seen-and he intends to keep it that way. Archer Wilson has everything going for him. Top of his classes, most popular boy in school, and Saint Arthur's golden boy. He's charismatic, effortlessly kind, and has a way of making anyone fall for him without trying. When Riley's family immigrates from Russia to the States, he struggles to adjust, forced to start over in a place that feels nothing like home. His closed-off attitude and tendency to act like a total douchebag don't help either-they just push people further away. But Archer doesn't back off. If anything, he's more intrigued by the new transfer student, determined to break down every wall Riley has spent his life building. He can't help but praise him for everything he does, and quickly realizes he's smitten the moment he meets him. What happens when Archer, Saint Arthur's golden boy, starts falling for the new transfer student who seems to hate everyone? Will Riley finally let him in-or keep pushing him away like he always has? #1 in #gay (12.19.2025) tropes: #grumpyxsunshine, #polaropposites, #slowburn, #temporaryunrequitedlove #popularnerdxlonelyathlete All Rights Reserved to Asphericity
