American transfer student, Sophia Walker, arrives at Hogwarts with only two things on her mind - Pass the NEWTs and Save Money! She MUST prove to the Ministry she is a fit guardian in order to adopt her 6 year old brother by graduation. Nothing else matters and she will run herself ragged to reach the goals to prove herself responsible.
Unfortunately, a fellow 7th year with a handsome freckled face continues to enjoy harassing her at every opportunity. With hatred filling her heart for the obnoxious Slytherin, she is left speechless when she learns this same man has been volunteering at an orphanage to spend time with her little brother.
Putting their annoyance for one another aside, this unlikely pair work together to do what is best for the boy. However, in spending more time together, their undeniable sexual attraction for one another begins posing a new set of problems.
