After winning a trip on the RMS Titanic during a dockside card game, American Sam Evans spots the society boy, Kurt Hummel, who is on his way to Philadelphia with his father, step mother, step brother and his step sister-in-law. Sam takes an interest in the rather rich and privileged boy. Only to learn that he's not as privileged as he once thought. Learning that he's not like the rest of the first class passengers.
