THE BUTCHER'S BILL

BUTCHER'S BILL is a novel set in 1968 Vietnam during the Tet Offensive. Paddy, a USO entertainer, is thrown into the reality of war when her lone escort is killed. She escapes flying mud bombs and pre-made staked graves to come up against a more deadly trap when she is brought into the fold of Task Force Lucky Dragon. Assigned to a deadly covert operation, the task force lures Paddy through its maze of deceit, treachery and assassination. Her illusions are shattered when she learns that the secret, back door, government society which sanctioned this mission has deemed her a liability.
