He had let his ego take control of his judgement and ruin any and all relationships he had formed. It made him sick to contemplate, and all he wanted to do in that moment was redeem himself by giving his life for the very people he had hurt. He was scared, terrified even, of course he was. But the only thing he cared about was protecting them all, his loyal fans, his best friend, his family. They all deserved his sacrifice.
