Marvel Universe, Emily's life isn't what you call 'amazing', she spent most of her life under Hydra's control with her father. Once she escapes things and becomes an avenger life starts to become normal, at least that's what she thought. Betrayal, trust issues, and finding someone who changed everything Emilys ever known, but is forever damaged. Emily thinks love just gets in the way, is that because she hasn't met the right person or would just rather end up fighting alone.
