After going undercover with the Neverseen, Sophie finds herself waking up to a changed world: Undead wandering the streets, plagues running amongst the survivors, and a new age in the book of humanity. But that's not the only thing that's changed.
The virus has three effects: you can die, become a zombie, or get special abilities. Luckily, Sophie and her friends fall under the third category.
But when Sophie discovers that her enemies are immune to the plague they unleashed and that they have a cure, she has to steal it to save the world from destroying itself.
