This takes place after the episode Sweet Baby James.
After James's pokemon Chimecho is worn out, it needs to stay with James's grandparents. When May's Pokémon Munchlax has a fever she, her friends and brother come to James's grandparents for help as well, James sat up all night that night. Watching over his beloved Pokémon and keeping a watchful eye on the twerps Munchlax, when May came to check up on Munchlax, she had then thought differently of the villain, there was something there that wasn't there before, could it be gratitude? Or could it be something else the teen didn't even think of happening?
Also I just want to add, in fan fictions ages can change. Fan fictions are not real life, in this fan fictions Ash, May and some side characters will be 15, Brock will be aged 18, Max is 9, James 19, Jessie 18, and so forward. Towns and cities will be randomly added and will not be in order, the designs of said towns and cities will be changed to how I would like them.

Ash has just lost in the Indigo League, due to his Charizard's disobedience. As he and Pikachu are thinking things over by a lake, they are sure in for a nasty surprise. Betrayal. That's what, out of all possible scenarios, Ash never imagined that his own friends and family would betray and even try and kill him. Now though, Ash must rise above this and prove the traitors wrong, starting with redemption. He heads over to the Orange Islands for sanctuary and to start a new journey, a new start was just what he needed, with new friends, new Pokemon, and mysteries surrounding the Pokemon world. But at the end of it all, the true adventure has only just begun... Warning: Foul Language, minor Adult topics, mentions of blood and gore. Not recommended for young children. Pokémon Journeys Rewrite
This is rewrite of the Pokémon series, Pokemon Journeys. In this rewrite Ash will get some new team members, and will be using his old Pokemon in some battles. There will also be a ton more battles than the original Journeys. Also a lot of old characters will return, and will also have a bigger part. For example Serena, Dawn, and May will be recurring characters. And speaking of them, Ash will also have a lot of shipping moments with the Pokegirls, except May (she's gonna be with Drew). For Goh I'll be redoing his story, with Project Legends instead of Project Mew. And Chloe will have a more prominent role in this rewrite. Also this fanfic will have Vermilionshipping (Chloe X Goh). Team Rocket will now have actual teams now There will also be more Galar, with the Galar rival being in and having bigger roles, and Ash will battle each Galar gym leader. Lastly there will an epic story, similar to Team Flare arc. So stay tuned for that. Also I don't own these characters, and they're owned by the Pokémon Company

This is a my dream Pokémon TV Series which will probably never happen. Summary: Red, Blue, and Leaf have been inseparable ever since they can remember. Now it's time for them to leave the town where they were raised and set out on their own to become Pokemon Trainers. After meeting with Professor Oak and getting their first Pokemon, Red's little brother, Ash Ketchum, fell into a coma. On their journey, the three trainers will battle against Gym Leaders, Team Rocket and a mysterious Pokemon. This is an alternative universe of Pokémon. It has every character from video games, anime, and manga. All your favorites will be there. What is the relationship between Red and Ash in your story? If Blue is in the story, what is his relationship with Gary? You mentioned Leaf is the story, who Ash's and Gary's third and what their relationship is? Red and Ash are reimagined as brothers and Red is the oldest. Also to add, Blue and Gary are reimagined as brothers too and Blue is the oldest. Green does and appear and is Ash's and Gary's third and she is reimagined as Leaf's sister. Leaf is also the oldest. Red, Blue, and Leaf are 14 years old and Ash, Gary, and Green are 10 years old. Serena, a performer that has had feelings for Ash ever since they met at summer camp in Pallet Town a long time ago, reunites with him and helps him take in a crisis in Lumiose City that involves mind controlled Pokemon. Now having to try and get Ash to be himself to be ready for the Kalos League causes her emotional pain and sometimes even physical. Ash has to find himself during his journey in order to be able to take on everything in his way, from his best friend Calem to his Arch Rival Damian... To even his own father. Half Ash and half Alain in the character of Ash Ketchum, there will be a good combination between battle styles and a good amount of combinations between overall personality and maturity. Ash is a teenager by the way! Will Ash win the league? Or because this being his first journey will he fall in the way? Amourshipping is the main ship of this fanfiction by the way! Rated everyone, but be warned for violence and some strong language (usually will have a star in the bad word) and some depictions of blood as well.
