Behind the Mask (Book One)
Adrien Agreste may seem like he has everything together. Being a famous model, all the girls crushing on him, secretly living a double life as a famous superhero, saving everybody... And most of all, having the perfect smile. But a smile can hide so much pain. He is broken. Lost his mother. Abused by his father. Wearing a mask everyday. But unlike them, she saw behind the mask. Trigger warning: child abuse, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, and depression. I tried not to make it extremely graphic, but some scenes may still be a bit graphic and it may still be triggering! Divided We Stand: Battle of the Miraculous
Start Date: February 19, 2021 End Date: June 30, 2021 Chat Noir never thought he'd find himself on Hawkmoth's side. Ladybug never thought her best friend would be her greatest enemy. When Gabriel reveals his identity to Adrien, Adrien does the unthinkable: he joins his father's cause. Chat Noir and Hawkmoth can't do this on their own, so Chat steals some of the miraculouses to build his own team of supervillains. As Ladybug struggles to find new heroes to replace her friends, whose identities have been revealed to Hawkmoth, Marinette struggles with the sudden changes in her classroom. Adrien seems to have abandoned all his old friends, except for her. As Marinette is pulled between Adrien and Luka, who has a few secrets of his own, she must figure out a way to help Chat Noir and Adrien before it's too late.Complete

Cat Noir looked with fear and sorrow in his partners beautiful blue bell eyes, that seemed to only glow more in the evening sky, but he didn't pay much attention to that, too much going on in his head as he feared for the fate of the young woman he used to know. Ladybug could tell he was scared, scared they might not be able to find her, but she couldn't tell him the truth, she just couldn't. She had to keep it a secret, no matter how wrong it felt. And if Cat noir knew the truth about this, he would only feel sorry for his dear lady, and she didn't want that. She looked down from him to avoid eye contact, knowing she couldn't explain, and she didn't want him to see the tears filling up in her eyes. _____________________________________________________ Appropriate for all ages! There may be slight violence, and a few kissing scenes, but nothing else.
