Callalily is a normal Silkwing living a normal(ish) life. She believes that Silkwings and Hivewings can live together in peace one day. However,she knows that is hard and that they'll have to work for it. When she meets Beetle,a kind Hivewing that believes that Silkwings aren't slaves,Callalily's world is turned upside down. Wings of Fire story! My name is Moon. I live in a world where everyone is tested. From the age sixteen to eighteen. In truth, you test yourself everyday the moment you find out what the world has come to. You test youself wondering if you're strong enough, smart enough, or brave enough. But most of all to see if you will do the right thing in the darkest times. Your eighteenth birthday is the biggest day of your life. The day you find out if you will fight, or die. Fear engulfs your body every waking moment, the very thought of death makes people lose hope, and it almost did for me too. And in those final moments, when you really don't know if you will live, you wonder, is dying now worse than living in something you hate so much. Do I live for something I despise? This story takes place only 10 years after the time of peace began. Hybrids are hunted by all but the Rainwings and the Sandwings. Dragons don't trust them because they don't belong to one tribe. They are sometimes horrible fails, but usually they are powerful dragons with skills of more than one tribe. This scares dragons and has brought them to hunt all hybrids. Follow Abyss and 6 other hybrids on fight to stay alive in the ever more threatening Phyrria. They have no idea of the great and dangerous journey ahead of them. Hawker is a normal Hivewing in cicada hive. He has his life as a soldier, and always, ALWAYS, follows the rules. That was until he met the most beautiful dragon he had ever seen. One problem. She was a Silkwing. Please just stick with it until chapter 10. The first 10 chapters aren't very good, but it gets better as you keep reading.
