A mystery and thriller 

Taking place in the 1945 Dean Darce (Tom Holland) a 17 year old is suspected of killing 30 women and sent to an asylum, Haze Manor. He swears he was framed but seems  guilty by everyone else. 

Sloane Solace a 16 year old and diagnosed sociopath along with other mental disorders, is held in the asylum as well. The girl claims to be capable of seeing creatures and shadows, but who knows if it's all in her head or if the demons are real.

Sloane and Dean forming a trustful relationship that turns into love, protect each other from the corrupt and very abusive staff of the asylum. She's the only one who believes him and he's the only one who believes her. 

When enough is enough, they plan to break out together, but people and things get in the way.
