For someone born in the Fire Nation, a place of passion and fire, she really was dull. It was odd how apathy was all she knew, and nothing motivated her--save for her knives and shuriken. She liked those for some strange reason...
They made her feel nostalgic.

It has been said that something as small as the flutter of a butterfly's wing can ultimately cause a typhoon halfway around the world. She might not remember that Will of Fire which burns inside her but it's spark persists and only needs a small breeze to be rekindled.

(There's a reason the crest of the Uchiha resembles an uchiwa fan--they were masters of fire--maintaining fire-and there was no way Uchiha Madara would let the spark of his sister's memory burn out.)

Sakura's death happened as a result of her two teammates' fight to the death. Naruto's attempt to change Sasuke wasn't going as expected, and now they were about to kill each other with their final blow. Naruto's intention had been to let Sasuke win and pierce through his body. But Sakura witnessed this whole thing and jumped between. It was a sickening feeling. Seeing two of the most important people in her life trying to kill each other. It was terribly wrong. In the spur of the moment, she flickered between them and took on their blows. It was abrupt and so quick that it felt like a dream. Except the pain was real. But she knew one thing for sure. She would do it over and over again if she had to. Because she wanted to protect them. That was supposed to be the end. But then she's startled awake by their Academy teacher and finds that she's returned to her twelve year old self. A seventeen year old in a twelve year old's ody. ★••••★ This is a Naruhina story that takes place right after the pain attack and continues all the way until they're young adults. Naruto realizes his feelings for Hinata as he spends more time with her but puts them aside. War being right around the corner, he couldn't help but grimace at his decision to confess to her when it was announced and didn't think it was appropriate when everyone is so stressed about it. Naruto does not remember that Hinata confessed to him at all. Childhood traumas further prevent him from expressing his feelings. Hinata, meanwhile is saddened that Naruto doesn't remember her confession but decides to not bring it up. Protecting herself from further embarrassment. When the war was announced she distracted herself by getting stronger. She wanted to improve herself. ★••••★ A/N: I'm going to boost most of the characters skill sets and flesh out their potential that was wasted in the series. Did the whole cast dirty imo. The story will be edited/fixed after completion. P.S. Naruto will not be Ashura's reincarnation. However Sasuke will still be Indra if that makes sense? Naruhina will be reincarnations.
