FIRE LILY

The life of a Fire Lily is short and delicate, beautiful and precious --just as all life is. They always bloom brightly and passionately; wilting just quickly.

It's a foregone conclusion--foreshadowing the tragic fate of all living things bound to time.

Such a romantic thing.

Not that she cared.

For someone born in the Fire Nation, a place of passion and fire, she really was dull. It was odd how apathy was all she knew, and nothing motivated her--save for her knives and shuriken. She liked those for some strange reason...

They made her feel nostalgic.

Ugh.

She hated nostalgia.

It was so... sentimental.

...

It has been said that something as small as the flutter of a butterfly's wing can ultimately cause a typhoon halfway around the world. She might not remember that Will of Fire which burns inside her but it's spark persists and only needs a small breeze to be rekindled.

...

(There's a reason the crest of the Uchiha resembles an uchiwa fan--they were masters of fire--maintaining fire-and there was no way Uchiha Madara would let the spark of his sister's memory burn out.)
