Ruby, named for the iconic Ruby Slippers featured in The Wizard Of Oz, has always had a fascination with the merry ol' land of Oz. She never leaves home in any other color shoe than red, and she randomly belts out the words to the anthems of this magical place. So when she gets the opportunity to play Dorothy, will she be able to triumph over her crazy life and land the role of her favorite character, or will she be left playing a tree?

These devious rulers not only hold the land captive but also conceal the true heiress to the throne of Oz, the rightful Princess Ozma. Stand alongside Dorothy as she forges alliances with both familiar faces and newfound companions, embarking on a quest to liberate Ozma and the entire land of Oz from the clutches of these tyrannical monarchs. Brace yourself for an odyssey filled with peril and valor, where courage and friendship shall be tested in the face of overwhelming adversity. *** Loosely based on the second and third books in the Oz series by L. Frank Baum, "The Marvelous Land of Oz" (1904) and "Ozma of Oz" (1907). In this adaption, I have merged the characters of Mombi from "The Marvelous Land of Oz" with Princess Langwidere from "Ozma of Oz," echoing the creative fusion of that character seen in the Return to Oz (1985). The character of the Nome King from Ozma of Oz has been infused with General Jinjur from the Marvelous Land of Oz, and reimagined as the Nome Queen. Princess Mombi also takes some of Jinjur's traits. Many other changes to characters and events from the books can be seen throughout my adaption as well.Concluida

Once, the Scarlet and Emerald tribes lived among each other in peace. They grew up among each other, played, and worked with one another, with no regard for the color of their eyes. But one day, that all changed. The Scarlet King began to control the minds of the Scarlets, forcing them to hunt down and kill Emeralds until there were none left. No one knew why or how the King came into the powers of hypnosis, but eventually the Scarlets came to accept that this was the way of life, and took their duties seriously. Emeralds were dirty, cruel, and heartless anyway. But what's the truth? When a young Scarlet named Rosalyn breaks free of hypnosis, her life is thrown upside down. She runs away from her city, who are now on the other side. Spencer is an Emerald who has lived his life in secrecy and poverty, fearful of the evil Scarlets who take the lives of innocent Emeralds without a second thought. But when he meets Rosalyn, the two realize they can work together to reunite the broken tribes and they agree to find out how Rosalyn broke out of hypnosis--and how to break everyone else out, too.
