After being bitten in Seattle, Ariadne begins her new non-life. Hoping there is more to it than living alone in a dense forest, she ultimately seeks out her creator and ends up in Forks. 
In search for more answers she goes to Italy, where she finds more than what she hoped for.
Will the unexplainable hold, the tracker Demitri has on her, ensure her of a place in this world of legendary creatures? Or is it her own gift that in the end earns her the right to decide her own fate?
