Shiggy remains silent for a bit so I decide to break the silence with a wine "ugh giri, you still don't have a lighter or something? This is supposed to be lit on fire! That's the whole appeal of the drink!" I gesture to my glass while looking at the misty man who is still facing the two new comers; I'm being ignored.
"I got a light" the male says, I hear footsteps from my side, yet I continue to stare at the mist man with furrowed brows, noticing his hesitance in this situation. The man walks over to me and places a hand on my chair. His thumb brushes across my back as he leans over me to reach the drink with his other hand. My back naturally straightens at the contact. His body heat is strong enough to reach me through this close proximity.
Why is he so... hot?
He leans over me and points a finger at the orange resting on the rim of my glass. I go to lean back to put some distance between us but I realize his hand would have more ease in caressing my back if I do. His movements are slow, almost sensual. Don't ask me how! I'm just the observe and report girl okay?!
A small blue flame shoots out of the tip of his finger and the orange immediately catches. The azure flames contrast with the orange color of the drink as well as the atmosphere in the room. The flame grows in size releasing a considerable amount of heat and light before dying down to a small flicker. In all honesty it was sexy. Idk how blue fire is sexy to me but here I am practically drooling over it.
This feeling is something different... this man is- "is that better? Whisky Sour girl".
I turn to face him at this point, his face above mine, causing me to look up. I see piercing blue eyes first and foremost. They're so pure and true like his fire. They're almost as inviting and dangerous as an actual flame. Looking into them was like staring into a campfire; relaxing, warm, it almost put me in a trance and yet I knew not to reach forward and touch. I don't want to get burned.

"Whats wrong?" Tenya questioned me "This is as far as i can go, these kids are safe" I got the students to safety, I could leave in peace. I turned to leave and Tenya grabbed my arm. So, uh... life's been kinda upside down lately. One day I'm at home with Mom, and the next, I'm stuck living with my dad-yeah, the Yamada Hizashi, better known as Present Mic. Didn't exactly plan for that, but here we are. Still trying to wrap my head around it. Can't say it's all bad, though. Turns out, co-hosting a radio show with your pro hero dad at ungodly hours of the night is a pretty decent distraction from... well, everything else. Honestly, it's kinda fun. The way we go off-script half the time, roasting villains and throwing shade at the news-it's chaotic, but in a good way. Keeps me from thinking too much. Dad's-well, he's loud, dramatic, and somehow a total dork and a hero at the same time. But he's also... warm. Genuine. The kind of guy who makes you feel seen, even when you're trying real hard to blend into the wallpaper. It's weird, having someone actually there. Asking if I've eaten, if I'm sleeping okay, if I wanna vent or just scream into a mic at 2 AM. I guess what I'm saying is, things are messy and confusing, and I have no idea what's gonna happen next. I hear the clanking of metal loud and rigid from behind me, I feel the wind rush past as I sprint, they are still chasing me. I'll be honest I don't know what to do, quite frankly it's hard to think straight right now. I feel my body shutting down as the adrenaline is losing its punch, I can't run any faster. I'm always running, they are always chasing me. I don't even know why they chase me, I don't know what I did and like them they won't say. Do they even know? Am I just unlucky? Someone they picked at random to be the new subject of there torture? I wont let it happen. That's why I'll stay free, never fully contained. I think about the one I love, Charlie. I don't know where he is, I don't even know if he is safe. "Hey! Weapon down sarge, we don't want to kill her!" A guard's shout smacks me out of my train of thought. By this point I've gained some distance due to them having heavy armour. This stops me in my tracks though, I hear the guards slow down too. I stop, I realise, they want me alive. They aren't going to kill me, they don't want me dead. I have a gun, if I just point it at myself what are they going to do? I turn around and I look at all of the guards who have stopped in their tracks heaving in confusion. It's silent, even the wind is merely a whisper, all that can be heard is the panting of everyone on scene. They want me alive, they want me alive. I turn around, towards my chasers. I notice the guards straighten as I do so, instinctively I hold my gun to my neck, one bullet left, not enough for all of them but enough to kill me. They don't want me dead. I look to see all of them freeze in shock before one of the guards takes a step forward. I can't see their face, I can't see anyone's face but I feel like I need to know who this is. Before I can react they raise their gun and shoot. Pain explodes in my leg and I fall, all that running, for nothing. All I see now is black, I can't hear everything but I still feel conscious.
