You'd known Frankie and Santiago for years, spending five being in Delta Force with them as the team sniper. The three of you had gravitated towards each other and became inseparable, had fallen in love while working. Then you all left the military in differing stages of your lives, meeting up when you could, but the timing was never right for anything permanent.
