"As someone who's worked on Sodor, and in general has been in active service for a very long time, I can defintely tell you that working almost every day with coaches and trucks definitely wears you down after a while. It's especially bad when you're smaller than the average big engine and others don't appreciate the effort you put in. But even despite my age, I still proved to the railway that I'm as useful as any other engine. But even then, like I said, when you've been in active service for as long as I have been, you start to notice how the world around you changes. The British railways used to have plenty of friendly steamies puffing around. But nowadays it's just a sea of dirty, grimey, dark, smelly, loud, unfriendly, fume-coughing, gross new engines. Me and many other engines sure are fortunate that we live in a country that's very accepting of steamies like me. But other engines on the British railways were not quite so lucky."

The Railway ~ Rewrite is a fanfiction of the Thomas the Tank Engine franchise. (You'd be surprised at how big the fandom is) After the crap that was the HiT era, which was what inspired me to do this in the first, the Sharon Miller era, the Big World Big Adventures era, and the cartoon crap that the Reverend Wilbert Awdry was against that's coming up this fall, I've decided to take it upon myself to rewrite everything Thomas in a more detailed literary format. I aim to fix everything in S8-16 and S22-24, and what's coming next.

I wanna make this a movie sometime too.

Hard times befall the island of Sodor and the current head of The NorthWestern Railway is forced to lease one of his families engines. The choice falls on Henry, the Green Engine. He gets leased by a German woman to run a line in her home country. There Sodors number 3 faces new challenges, meets new engines and some even become his friends. This is the first book of a three part series. I hope I found all typos and if you find some please let me know. The year is 1964, everything has changed for all engines on British tracks. None know what to do with the gigantic modernisation plan which will exterminate them all in replacement of diesels. What the engines of the North Western Region want to know is has Thomas been replaced? With none knowing of what has happened to him along with Peter and Ava, Edward finally has enough and goes out in the wilderness to go and find him. This means going out of Sodor, across the dangerous mainland and getting to an entirely new and foreign island to the blue engine, Thesang Island which is surrounded in mystery for him. The world of Sodor is a treasure trove of story opportunities. Whether it's the books or the show, the Thomas universe is never short on stories to be told. There is already plenty of fan content for Thomas and Friends. Most content tries to keep the lore of the Railway Series and sprinkle concepts from the TV series into the mix. I am no different, but I tried to make my take on this universe unique. This is something that has been in the works for the past three years. It has taken plenty of refinement, revision and lots of research. At long last, I've written something to be proud of.

Some time has passed since Thomas and TFC return from London,Sodor have been throught a lot of changes over the years,The N.W.R have made improviments over the years with technology,areas have been extended and places were build,like a conteiner yard in a old yard south of Tidmouth,and new engines have arrived over the years,as well as some old friends,join Thomas and his friends in this new series of adventures on the Island of Sodor. (Just to clarify,the images used in this fanfic do not belong to me,it belong to it's creators,so is Thomas in general,every credits goes to it's respectful creators). (Also,events like TATMR,Day of The Diesels,Big World,Big Adventure movie and it's season are canon,but they happen very diferently then the original).

You know the original story. Some may like it, some may not. This is why I am attempting to remaster it. Mostly due to it being incomplete and that I feel most characters didn't have the ark they deserved like Percy, Douglas and James for a few examples. I am aware I don't own SF or know the person who does but lets be honest. I doubt they care much for the story anyway. If need be I'll gladly take this down.
