Defeated again and again, the Frostbourne are forced to play a bad hand, and are continuously routed by Herobrine's massive Undead Armies, though the discovery of a small-time Chieftain out in the rural stretches of Frostbourne territory threatens that balance severely.

The watch is ticking, and everyone scrambles to their side to begin the fight. It will be a most certainly long - and disastrously bloody - conflict, threatening the very core of human civilization. As everyone at the table reveals their hand at once, the time grows increasingly against them, shaking the very core of the principles that will define their legacy for years to come.

Nothing is right. New factions. New leaders. More blood. More death. It won't stop until someone has everybody else's head on a pike. Who can you trust? The fear surrounds you. It eats you alive.

Legacy is a 2021 writing project started by SrpskiSpecijalista, and finished by CapitanPerez. I am always looking for ideas and things you guys want implemented, so if you do just suggest it in the Conversations tab or the chapter comment section and I'll make sure to read it over. This story takes place in an alternate reality, where things have happened differently and many characters are still alive. Thank you for your patience!

Make sure to read "Legacy: Annihilation" if you liked this one! It's the second book in the series and takes the story further, so I suggest you read that one! Thanks!

All but a few of the characters belong to Rainimator, including all of the ones on the cover art. I only own the storyline and the story itself.

Laura knew the dangers of her world. Between Cordyceps and the survivors, she often wondered how she'd made it twenty years. Lacking a purpose, she acted as a FEDRA plant for the Fireflies before she became the guardian of an immune kid. Ellie. But, of course, her life wasn't challenging enough already. And so, to stay with her kid she'd have to work with 'Texas'. He was a reminder of why it was dangerous to let people in - a reminder of her biggest regret. Joel never forgot 'Quebec', a person with whom he'd shared parts of himself he never wanted seen. It was safe to do so with her, because they'd agreed never to share their real names. It was a failed attempt at emotional detachment, which was why he'd never admit how much it hurt when she'd left four years ago. But when they have to cooperate to get Ellie across the country, he's confronted with their entwined history. Joel just wants to survive long enough to find his brother, and all he can do is prevent Laura from pulling him in again. He didn't realise he was already drowning until they made code words. 'Silver' meant 'help'... God help anyone that made Laura say 'silver'. ||Joel Miller Fan-Fiction - The Last of Us|| ||basically a season 1 rewrite with a new OC and an epilogue correction to what will happen in season 2 iykyk|| ||canon-typical violence, swearing, and trauma I guess|| ||complete - undergoing edits|| notable rankings: #1 in joelmiller #1 in tlou #1 in thelastofus #1 in mutualpining #116 in fluffandsmut

"You think you have what it takes to handle the likes of me, sweetheart?" he whispered, a sardonic smile plastered on his lips, "you don't." ---------- Cold and cruel. That's who the Alpha of the Creston Bay pack was known to be. Greyson Otaire ruled under a strict dictatorship, knowing that the protection of his pack would always come first. After he was forced to abandon his lands from the threat of the Rogue King, it was time to head back. Only now, he would return to his lands with his mate, Natalia Hemmings, by his side. Greyson had sworn off the idea of mates, given up on the entire constitution of it, and after what happened in his past, he knew that not having a mate was best for everyone involved. But now he found her, marked her on sight, and was stuck with her. As hard as he fought to stay away from her, and as much as he tried to protect her from the demons of his past, the pull between them was too strong. Lotticia Andrews had spent her entire life behind the walls of her library. Her father raised her to be selfish, and to fear the outside, and even after his death- she never left. She and her border collie had remained- until their food ran out. Lotticia wasn't a fighter, she only ever knew how to use knives- a knife her father had taught her how to use. A knife, a dog, a journal, and anxiety are all her father left her with. And books- hundreds of books. Then a Warrior general stomps his way into her life- trampling her solitary and lonely life. He's loud and obnoxious, imposing- but there seemed more beneath his hard exterior. His personality was a weapon he wore like his armor. General Christoph was a harsh leader compared to his predecessor Zelle. The warrior who trained him and chose him to continue in his footsteps after his death. He was bitter and cynical- and didn't intend to take another woman after his mate had died all those years ago. But things don't always go according to plan- he never meant to stumble upon a small female, nor her furry big-eyed dog. Christoph needed this human, for her knowledge and the language she could help them to understand her hand language. A small group, a one-day trip- that was all it was supposed to be. But then no one expected poachers, Another human female, or the natural cycle and what it could do to the human body. Christoph had completely underestimated the trip. Now war has broken out and tensions rise- both buried feelings and skeletons come falling out of the closet. Can this spunky smart girl survive the Palace's wrath? Can Christoph face the reality that things aren't always what they seem nor black and white? Will Lassie play her part- and find her way home? Who knows- maybe humanity was doomed on Earth- but that won't be Lottie or her dog- because she's willing to do whatever it takes to get moved up to the front of the list. Even if it means dealing with the palace, poachers, and skrill alike.

Rain World and all characters in it are made by Video Cult, I do not own these characters or the game. If you do not know what Rain World is, I heavily advise you do some non-spoilery research on it. Heavy spoilers for the base game and Artificer's campaign ahead. ------------------------------------- "The Rain shall fall, and so shall every scavenger in this damn wasteland" "Ok, but do we HAVE to kill them?" A story where a PACIFIST of all slugcats ends up in the decaying, rot filled wasteland known as 'Rain World'. Your frail frame and sickly nature will do you no good here, and your vow of peace is nothing but a detriment to you. Sick, starving and having a broken leg isn't the best case scenario in such a place, but when you see that tell-tale sign of another slugcat. A faint hope blossoms. Or A Pacifist (You) ends up in Rain Word and finds Artificer. Notes: You go by They/Them, so everyone can suffer while reading my story equally. Artificer is female in this fanfic. I'm sorry male Arti fans. Swear warning: The Artificer is not known to be very kind with words. Suicidal Ideation: This will also be present, incase you have trouble with this topic, it may be best you refrain from reading this. Blood and Violence: This book will not shy away from depictions of blood, due to me being pretty new to this type of story, don't expect a full blown detailed depiction of every injury, wound or malady that is present. Music: Music will be offered to you. Most of it will be ambience, with the occasional fight theme here and there. Mature Rating: The Mature rating is for the themes of death, existential dread and other issues. There won't be any seggs, don't let it fool you.
