Their childhood friendship was torn apart by a family dispute.

They meet again a few years later in college. After they had a scuffle in the hallways on the first day of the term, their headmaster decides to put them together in the same dorm despite America's protests.

America depises Russia, blaming him for the end of their old friendship. But when Russia starts to thaw and show America his vulnerable sides, America finally learns to let go and forgive.
