Y/n was always in love with the underwater world. So in love that they brought the deepest and most unknown creatures to the overworld. 
The reader spends their time with dealing with a couple of 8 creatures while trying to keep them a secret from the overworld. It is hard to consider that they are ready to eat every human head off that stands against the reader.

Sollux was by the ocean, sitting on the dock one day. He doesn't really have the greatest life on land, he was fired from his job, he needed money to pay rent for his apartment, he didn't have many friends, and things just didn't work out for him anymore. He does all of this while keeping him secret from everyone else except for his best friend, Karkat. After some time, he realizes that he can't stay on land if he wants to keep Eridan safe. Sollux will have to choose whether to stay on land and look for a different way to help him, or to become a merman himself and live in the water for the rest of his life.
