After the Khaos brigade attack on the underworld Issei is seemingly faced with his demise. What if death had stuck?
The underworld is ravaged by war, unrest in the dimensional gap is threatening to spill over into the rest of the world at any moment and perhaps throw everything off balance.
Yet the gears of fate keep turning, as the boosted gear arrives at a new host, rather abruptly. What shall happen as multiple groups approach the new wielder, hoping to gain his power, retrieve what they've lost or who knows what else? What of the expectations left behind by the previous user, now all weighing on a boy without any desires to guide him?
