"Just remember Caylen, you always get burnt when you play with fire, and third degree burns are deeper that skin."

~*~

When Caylen Jacobs moved into the empty house next to Arden Oscar, she made the decision then and there that he was trouble, and she'd do everything in her power to stay away from him. But that proved harder than she thought, seeming as he liked to climb in her bedroom window, annoy her at every chance he had, and give himself the mission of finding out what made her so beautifully broken.

But that's the last thing Arden wants, someone sticking their nose where it doesn't belong and bringing back memories better left forgotten.

And Caylen will soon realise that some things should be left broken, because things can get sticky and already broken pieces can shatter.
