Not Everybody Accepts You But Some Do - Poetry

I walk up to my friends and family at the gathering.

They were all confused at why I called for them all of a sudden.

That's when I told them about how I'm part of the LGBTQ+ community.

They were all suprised,

some had disgusted looks,

some had emotionless looks,

and some had excited looks.

I guess family and friends can be accepting,

but not every single one of them.

Though,

I don't care,

I am who I am and nobody can tell me otherwise!
