Entities, who have various "difficulties" or how dangerous they are, roam in the Backrooms. In each level, different entities are found. Some kill you. 

In this book, we follow Ezekiel, who had "noclipped" into the Backrooms. He is 15 and scared for his life.

After the Fun War all partypoopers vanished into the Promised Land. The problem appeared when one of them accidently noclipped straight into the Funrooms, with no way back. Oliver yells for help, and someone almost immidiately grabs him from behind and covers his mouth. Why? Because there was a weird creature just some meters ahead, and it definitely heard him.
