Matthias let out a low growl and stepped closer to me.
"Dacoma leave, me and her need to have a talk." He said the word "her" harshly as he barked out the words. Dacoma protested, but Matthias wasn't going to budge so he left and gave me a forced and worried smile before shutting the wooden doors. The sound of the wood closing echoed throughout the room, and riverbed through my ears.
"Look at me." I ignored his order and felt like I started shaking from anxiety. "Kaina. Look.At.Me," he ordered again, but even though it sounded stern, it didn't sound harsh or mean.
