One of the most important things was being comfortable. The feeling of suffocating fear and anxiety crouds everyday life, but when you are safe and comfortable it's like floating on clouds, like the air beneath you is solid and holding you up; nothing pulling you down.
When I'm around him the air beneath me is solid, but I can feel the anguish of life beating around me.

For 10 years Elena Hart has lived in the basement. After getting kidnapped and watching her family get murdered, people think she is dead. But she isn't, though she wishes she is.
