&nbsp;You know that girl that sits in the front of the classroom with her oversized
sweatshirt and nerdy glasses? The one that seems to always know the answer and
has no friends in this overpopulated school? Yeah that girl is me. But I’m not
the girl you think I am. That oversized sweatshirt? It isn’t because I’m
insecure with myself. Nope. That sweatshirt hides the tattoos that grace both
my arms. Shocked right? I told you I wasn't who you thought I was. At school I will always appear as the nerd girl because that’s what everyone has thought of me since well, forever basically. So where did this tattooed girl come from? Good question. My sophomore year I had been dating this guy who
didn’t treat me right. So basically one night after I finally got rid of him, I
got fed up with being the goody two shoes nerd that was taken for granted and
decided to be someone else. It was time for a change, but the change I wanted I
knew my uptight yet barely existent parents wouldn’t like. So I decided on
creating two me’s. Yes, I know. Cliché much? But the truth was this was the
only way I could satisfy my need to become someone else while not giving my
parents a heart attack because I ruined their reputation. So one night, those two years ago, I put on clothes that the nerdy me would never wear and showed up at a tattoo parlor. That’s how I ended up with my skull and rose tattoo on my left arm. That night I also met my best friend Connor. Connor
was there actually getting another tattoo and although he’s a few years older
than me, him being his flamboyant self, instantly offered to be the shy girls
friend. I wasn’t shy for long though. Connor definitely brought out the rebel in me. I
told him my story, minus the guy I was with, and he was determined to help me
become the girl I’ve secretly always wanted to be. He even gave me the idea to
come up with another name for myself when I wasn’t at school. Hazel wasn’t my
alter ego, she was the real me finally being able to come out.All Rights Reserved

... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!

"You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him? I'm surprised the cheer-bitch hasn't threatened you yet." Jessica said, her face showing shock. "Um, no I don't know him... and cheer-bitch?" I frowned confused. "She's his ex-girlfriend, but considering she has such a small brain that is a size of a peanut, she won't leave him alone. I mean like seriously, EX; has she not heard of that quote, 'Thanks for the EXperience, Our time has EXpired, now EXit my life.' She is one clueless bimbo. Then again who would leave him alone he is S-E-X-Y!" I laughed. "I am going to love being your friend." I said while I looked back to where he had headed a while ago, but I no longer saw him. I sighed disappointed.

"fine. you're no fun. we have to schedule our tutoring times" he said before nudging me "i'm your first student to tutor surprise!" he said in a tone that i can only describe as annoying because that's all he is, is annoying.
