The Edwardian, captained by its unshakeable namesake, had embarked on many an adventure, and its name had gained fame enough to ring with some familiarity even as far as the small hamlet of Atherdee. Unbeknownst to the eclectic crew, the key to bridging the gap between recognizable and legendary status spent her nights tending to the town's humble inn. Coaxed from comfort by a simple pocket watch and bolstered by the courage of her brother at her side, Eabha finds herself gravitating towards the mystical call of the great ship, fortuitously joining the rambunctious brotherhood on board. In so doing, she discovers that the stories of bravery, magic, family, and love not only exist in tales of the world beyond, but, in fact, were now embodied by those around her and, ultimately, within her. When the ruthless forces of darkness face the unrelenting strength of The Edwardian battalion and their new, unassuming hero, every skill will be tested and terrible sacrifices will be made in the desperate hope that what they have built together will prove powerful enough to overcome the looming shadows threatening their survival and the freedom of their beloved country.

Estelle Beaumont just wanted a peaceful hike on her last day of vacation. Instead, one ill-starred moment of curiosity leaves her miraculously stranded in the fictional world of Prythian--a faerie realm full of ruthless court drama, rampant misogyny, and enough deadly magic to keep anyone up at night. Armed with foreknowledge that's only helpful when it isn't actively trying to get her killed, Estelle quickly discovers that living through the story of ACOTAR is far less fun and far more perilous when it's her own basic-ass, untrained mortal life on the line. Her plan is simple: keep her hands off of the plot and survive long enough to find a way back to the family and love she left behind. But the so-called "Mother" clearly has other plans for Estelle, forcing her to confront an unsettling truth--that her role here in Prythian might be far greater than that of a passive observer. As Estelle reluctantly abandons her original plan, uneasy alliances form, old wounds reopen, and fractured trust begins to mend. Love, loss, and scars of the past converge as Estelle slowly starts to see that the family she thought she'd lost might take a new shape, and that the life she left behind might be the only reason she's prepared for the fight ahead. But the cost of shaping Prythian's future--and her own--might be greater than she can bear. After all, it's a future that was never meant to be hers to begin with. And this is all that damned Cauldron's fault... ☆⊱──────⊰ ☽✧☾ ⊱──────⊰☆ A/N: This fanfiction is purely self-indulgent. If you don't like self-insert/iseki like tropes were an original character who read the books ends up in the fictional world as the new main character, you might want to skip this. Somethings will stay very familiar, others will diverge completely, and I plan to add extra world building along the way. Slowburn romance.

But these become hard to complete as all is stripped away from her with the coming of unexpected news. Marriage and war between the faeires and elves of Ilkaphene. A land of magic, where flowers and fungi grow as tall as their castles. Where forest creatures live in harmony. A land of peace. A land where a fairy married an elf. A fairy princess marrying an elf princess at that. Eliora begins to hear rumors of the war. How it was destroying an ethereal land. And, worst of all, how women were being silenced to prevent more "corruption". As the war and its standards begin to seep into Elvangmort, changing Eliora's home into one of constrictions, hushed whispers, and worst of all, a hatred toward women, she knows that she must do something to save her freedom and the freedoms of those around her. *** This is my submission for ONC 2025!
