Sasuke and his best friend Rinn grew up in the village together, but by a cruel twist of fate she was taken away for special training merely days after his family was killed, and Sasuke is left all alone.
Several years pass, and Rinn returns to the village with her new squad (both boys, much to Sasuke's distaste) to take the chunin exams. Sasuke's feelings shift to something much deeper than friendship, but will Rinn feel the same? And what of Sasuke's vow to kill his brother?
