The floor board made a creaking sound and Rafe started to turn his head, but before he could turn it all the way, I pulled his head back to face me. We made eye contact for a moment and then I kissed him with urgency, hoping he didn't see JJ at all. Unfortunately for me, JJ saw me kissing Rafe.
