Her parents thought it was cute at first. Krystal was two when it first started. She was being tucked into bed one stormy night, when she said,"Where will my sister sleep?""What's your sister's name?" Her mother asked loudly so she could be heard above the pitter patter of rain drops on the roof."My sister's name is Rain.""Alright. Rain can sleep right next to you." Krystal's mother kissed her on the forehead. "Goodnight honey." She said"You didn't say goodnight to Rain." Krystal whined."Goodnight Rain." Krystal kept talking about Rain. Her parents didn't think anything of it for a few years, assuming it was just a phase. But by the time Krystal was thirteen they began to worry. Krystal still believed she had a sister named Rain.

"That was ages ago, how do you still remember that?" "Because when I walked into that room, I was mesmerized by the image of you. That was the most beautiful sight I have seen in my entire life. A moment so special it made all of my senses come to a standstill. I just couldn't look away. If I had snapped a photo of you back then, you probably would have thought I was an odd one, so I didn't. But god, I wish I had. I remember walking back into my room that evening and cursing my hands for not being able to draw. If I ever learn how to-which I will-that memory will be the first thing my pencil will mimic on paper." • 𖤝 • Daisy had her life back in order-or so she deluded herself into thinking-until one reckless mistake has her spiraling out of control again.
