“Aubrey?” Pressure was building up in my heart by the minute. All I got out was, “I-- My heart-- Please-- I. Can’t. Breathe.-- Please--” I was cut off by my own struggling grunts. I found the first exit and ran outside onto one of the grass lawns. “Where are you?” His voice panicking. I fall to my knees and draw one heavy breathe, followed by coughing. I looked around to search for a sign or something. “Grass-- Building 5--” I took another heavy breathe, grunted in pain, and dug my fingers in the grass. “Don’t move,” Marco says and hangs up. There were three students passing by, who gave me a mix of weird and scared looks. I wanted to scream from the pain, but didn’t want the whole entire student body watching. Fuck it. I screamed. I felt like someone grabbed my heart and squeezed all the blood out in a slow, torturous manner. I closed my eyes. Tears were rolling down my cheeks at fifty-miles-per-second.
