Mierly University is one of the most prestigious universities in the Western Hemisphere, boasting an intense law program and some of the most accomplished professors money can buy. For Hayley Nicholson, it is home, as she lives there with a roommate and little else in the way of friends. Hayley is a smart, humble, and modest college kid with a passion for the arts and indulging in her favorite books. Torn between her father's wishes for her to have a successful law career and her own desire to pursue her artistic passion, she has always struggled to fit in, and no one ever seemed to pay her much mind. However, her whole world is suddenly stripped away from her as her dormitory is broken into, and every item of clothing or textiles she ever owned turns up missing. The burglar did leave one clue, however, in the form of a note and a single email, informing Hayley that she is being blackmailed, and forcing her to help them cheat on the upcoming final exams. When Hayley inevitably tries to trick the person, things go horribly wrong, and she learns the hard way about one of Mierly's newest experiments: a proposed clause that would give students identifying as nudists the ability to practice their lifestyle in peace on campus. The only stipulation: Not a single item of clothing will be permitted to the student for the remainder of their tenure at the school.
