Steve Rogers, a symbol of freedom, and a lab test gone right.
Talon Waitere, the experiment gone wrong, and the assassin from another world.

Talon has only loved two people in all 93 years of her life, and she has vowed to keep it that way. However, when Steve moves into her house she finds strange feelings developing toward him. 
Her kind goes unnamed, for there is only one other like her in the universe. They were never supposed to be created. 
To any stranger, she is a shadow, unnoticed and forgotten. But she is much more than that. 
Talon is a killer, and a good one.

Soon Steve finds he also has feeling for her. However, he doesn't know how many people she has killed, or what she is. He finds her dark attitude intriguing, and also a bit scary. Of course, he doesn't know the half of it.

What happens when you put an American psycho and an American beauty together? 
A deadly love that will struggle to survive. 

Talon's story is ending, while Steve's is just beginning.
