Lina has a perfectly happy life, a loving family and two best friends Zaiden and Luke. But then something happens to Luke on his 18th birthday that completely changes the way Lina views him, the government, and herself. Being mark less is a challenge, practically a small army hunting you wherever you go. It doesn't help that most of these people can read and alter memories. That's the only reason they were able to abduct Luke without suspicion, everyone forgot, including Lina. Now forgotten by their own families going home isn't an option, the only hope Zaiden and Lina have is to find Luke and run.
