This takes place after the bad batch has died, it took a great toll on Omega but right before Hunter died he made Crosshair promise to look after Omega and protect her no matter what. This takes place in a small town on a very unpopulated planet and they live in a small cottage in the woods away from the closest town.

The Bad Batch: Tech and Vel
During the Clone Wars, the Bad Batch is tasked with a variety of missions across the galaxy. An unexpected addition to their team throws a wrench in the mix, particularly for Tech, who finds a particular connection with the disillusioned Padawan-turned-mechanic named Vel. Let's be honest... this is a slow burn, cheesy romance with just enough immersion in the Star Wars world to give us all a little vacation with one of our favorite clones. No smut, just PG-13 romance and adventure. It's like a mix of Pride and Prejudice and the Jim and Pam dynamic from The Office. Also, I did my best to keep a steady plot line and tried to think of all the potential plot holes or questions or whatnot, but ultimately, this was just an excuse to indulge in imagining a little romantic adventure for Tech.
