Nora Archer is the apprentice of a dress maker in London, 1981. Strange happenings occur when Mrs. Bridedale takes a trip to Paris with her husband to learn new dress making styles. Nora is left in charge of the shop, seeing has she has nearly finished her apprenticeship. Red and white candles have been left around in the shop in various patterns, and a week after Mrs. Bridedale leaves, she finds the body of an unborn baby in the middle of a pentagram. Victor Maxwell breaks into the shop chasing after a demon and literally crashes into Nora. How will Nora pay back her debt of letting a very powerful demon escape? Maybe with her life.

Antique stores have always given me a mysterious feeling. Every object inhabiting those stores have a story of their own. The thing is when one of these antiques actually take me away from my modern world I don't know what to do. The "monster" my husband claims is taking me away as the days go by is no monster.
