Prolouge: Aether got separated with his sister by some Unknown God and when he woke up, he was all alone in Teyvat until a certain emergency food met him and taught him all he needed to know about this world. 

Entering Monstadt, meeting the Anemo God himself, and defeating Stormterror, who used to be one of the Four Winds, he gain the title Honorary Knight, yet he still wasn't able to know his sister's whereabouts.

Chapter I: After being convinced by the Anemo God to look for the God of Contracts instead, Aether prepared travelling to Liyue, the City of Contracts. 
However, during the Rite of Descision, Rex Lapis has been killed and he's the prime suspect. 

Soon meeting the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor's consultant, a certain Fatui Harbinger, the Vigilant Yaksha, and many other comrades, they soon fought against Osial, protecting Liyue Harbor. 
But as usual, he still haven't got to know where his sister is.

Chapter II: After some series of unfortunate events, the Traveler then decided to journey towards Inazuma. 
However, the nation decided to close off all its borders under the command of the Electro Archon, the Raiden Shogun. 

They find a ship captain, Beidou, willing to give them passage to Inazuma but must participate in her tournament to do so. 
Easily winning the tournament, Aether learns more about the oppressive rule of the Shogun and that she has decreed that all visions are to be confiscated.

Genshin Impact: The Amazing Aether by GuardianLugia8

Aether was captured by the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles and is now stranded in the world of Teyvat. A common starting to the story of the traveler, however this one is a bit more different than the usual. As in this one, Aether will be more competent as he will use the skills and knowledge he accumulated on his vast journeys to his advantage in this new world. This is the story of the powerful and amazing traveler, Aether! A/N: So this is my new book. I have been playing Genshin for 3 years now and one thing I noticed is that there aren't many Aether centric fanfics. Usually they are just shipping fanfics, not that I don't enjoy them. Also, it is known that Aether and Lumine have seen stars being born and die, and were said to have travelled a lot. As such, their performance in Teyvat is a bit lackluster. Even if their powers have been sealed their knowledge and memories are still there (don't know about the sibling part) and their bodies aren't that weak. Yet they manage to be defeated again and again. I like Aether as I chose him but his skill set in the game is not that great and he has great potential for power, Navia's story quest can show us that.
