Alice Asmodeus stands at the end of the line looking back at everything he and his master have accomplished. Everything he'd hoped for Iruma came true, he's now the demon king and as his servant Alice could never be prouder of him. And so when danger strikes he protects his master with his very life, and in his last moments he realizes something he should of done all those years ago: make Iruma his.
And so when he gets the chance to redo everything, that's exactly what he does.
(This might seem like it has a lot of drama, but I promise past the first two chapters it's all fluff)
