Ever since I remember Ive been getting these weird dreams, never knew what they mean. Until now. Now everything is going to change.

No, this is not a teenage drama. If that's what you came looking for, you might as well turn yourself around and hit that back button in the top left corner of your browser. I'm writing this, because I literally have nothing better to do with my time, and I'd like to write some realism, thanks. You're one-of-a-kind. You don't feel, you don't know what it's like to have emotions. You've barely felt loved even when you're with the best of your friends. The world's getting boring, you don't feel anything in particular and there's no excitement in your life. It's okay though, right? Everyone has their flaws, this is yours. You've got to live with it. Honestly, you enjoy being dull, quiet. Nobody bothers you, it's like you don't exist. The only people you could possibly need in life are your friends. Nothing can solve your little problem... right? big edit: hello, I wrote this when i was 16 and am now 25. I thought I would republish because it honestly gave me happiness to have something read so much. I am still pursuing writing--but this time, under a penname but still on this site. Maybe, one day, I will reveal that I wrote this too. So for those who have read before, thank you. The Fake Smile He Wears
No Ships! i do be cringing at this very hard but I'll keep it up for y'all. note that the quality is very questionable and like most people i've reflected on the cringiness <3 The Ancients saw many of their children and grandchildren suffering alone, no one noticing the other's pain. The fake mask, the 'happy' countries wore. The secrets they all hid. The Ancients couldn't let this just happen, they came up with a plan. America was the unfortunate victim and test subject. America is the happy, joyful, always smiling, and loud country, but what if everything they know about him is a lie? A mask no one could see through. The mask no one tried to look through. There was a lot they didn't know about him. A lot he hid from them. A lot he kept inside his cracking heart. Secrets will be spilled, and skeletons will come out of the closet. Feelings kept inside for so long, will come out. The sides of America they never knew of will come out today. The mask will come off today. The mask that's been worn for so long. Will he be saved? What happened to America? Who is America really? How many lies have been told? How many hearts will be broken? Did they ever know America at all? How many friendships will be built, and how many destroyed? How long has America deceived them all? How will they see America now? Will America come out of this better or worse? Was doing all of this right? Only time will tell. WARNING⚠️⚠️⚠️: Mentions of suicide, eating disorders, self harm, other mental disorders, and depression. It’s funny how little things that happen in life can change everything about a person. How it changes their attitude, appearance, status in society, personality, and much more. I was your typical teenager, I hung out with all kinds of people, I loved making new friends, I didn't care about appearances or which group you were from. Then I started high school and everyone started changing, the cliques got worse and some of my friends had become too good for the rest of us. Life went on though no matter what there was a group of us that refused to let the politics of high school change us, but no matter what slowly each one of us fell into it all whether we realized it or not. Our group went from tons of people to a mere few. All that was left was those who didn't play in any sports, wasn't a genius, wasn't asked to join the more popular crowd, and who had no school spirit. You really found out who your true friends were through the transition of grade school to high school. I still got along with everyone although I only would hang out with my small group. Even we had let the politics of high school change us whether we realized it or not. We each had changed our outlook on life and our attitudes a little here and there but that could have just been considered as us growing up as well. I like to think that we were shaped by the harshness high school brought with it. Our group went through major changes our senior year not that we had expected it to happen or even wanted it to happen but it did changing our lives forever.
