A tank engine who has been through everything, love, wonder, hate, being neglected, restored and refurbished, he has a best friend named 'David' another Andrew Barclay locomotive however he is an 0-4-0 a little bit smaller than Spirit however much younger, Spirit was built all the way back in 1911 and David wasn't then built until 1953, however both locomotives were built at Kilmarnock.All Rights Reserved

Dear readers, There were many engines on The Fat Controller's railway who weren't written about by Wilbert Audrey. There are several different reasons as to why, from not wanting to be written about to Wilbert having too much on his plate already. (I personally blame the publishers for that last one.) However, one of these engines has finally spoken up about an event not many people look at... the time the NWR was without a shunter, before Percy arrived, and after Thomas left for the Farquhar Branch.
