I mean in every interview with an amazing hero, having a strong will was all they talked about. So who was Izuku to doubt the words of his amazing idols(G̶O̶D̶S̶). At least that's what he told himself. Every day he would wake up and tell himself that all he needed was to persevere. It soon became a habit that he would look in the mirror every morning and tell himself to remain strong-willed. But all habits are meant to be broken. And when habits are broken, your world is broken.

Few remembered he even had one, but those few could never forget. A demon Quirk. One look into his eye, and everything would disappear. And your worst fear played out. An awful Quirk. An evil Quirk. A villain Quirk. No one could know. No one could see. No one would have to live through that. No one but Izuku, who had no choice any more. The broken little boy the world forgot. The scarred small child the class hated. The powerful programed weapon the villains used. He would show them all. He would become the one the villains learnt to fear. Izuku quit dreaming of becoming a pro hero after three times of being denied. He decided to screw it, and just be normal. He has part time jobs, he recently graduated, he has a car, a nice apartment. Since hardly anyone even gave him the time of a day unless they didn't know who he was. They fed him and gave him a small allowance besides that they might as well have been strangers. His sister Izumi was treated like a goddess by both his family and the public but Izuku once never saw why. He was bullied at school his whole life mostly only verbally with the ones leading the charge being his old friends and sister. He still dreamed of being a hero but knew it was unrealistic as he focused more on his mind. He still exercised hard though which gave people the wrong idea of him still having that dream. On the fateful day of his middle school graduation, he learned where his family stood and what they thought of him. He left and soon met a man that would change his life. With his dreams shattered and his future seeming to be lost, Izuku Midoriya runs. He ran away from police custody before they even knew what to do with him and lived off the streets. He didn't know what to do. His mother dead and his source of stability gone, he looses his will to anything but keep fighting. Most people would turn to villainy after this, always searching with vengeance and an anger that could never be tamed. But Izuku isn't most people. He couldn't bring himself to hurt people so he decided he'd be a hero, just not by title. His heart has always longed to save those in need, after all.
