Don't Plant Me White Lilies, But Marigolds

A short story told from the point of view of a soldier fighting in Europe during World War I. He deals with loss and living on in his dire circumstances. A lot of just self-reflection I suppose.

I haven't written many stories, I'm just beginning to let my creativity come out through writing. If you read, thank you so much for doing so. I wrote this all in one sitting and it may show lol. I'm open to thoughts on what could make it better. Thanks!
